The Behind the Bridal Assistant Program is a team of skilled artists, carefully selected based on their experience and tenure with our company. We match the right artist to each wedding, whether they are assisting or taking the lead, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for every client.
We require a minimum of two training days per year with our lead artists to ensure continuous growth and alignment with our standards. While additional training outside of Behind the Bridal is always encouraged, it does not count toward the required two training sessions annually.
You will receive the date, time, location, and an estimated number of services requested. If the date is available, you’ll approve the request, and once the contract is finalized, you’ll have a confirmed number of services. Best of all, you won’t need to handle any of the back-end tasks. All payments are managed directly through Behind the Bridal, so there’s no need to worry about collecting money from the bride—everything is pre-arranged and set aside for you.
Behind the Bridal will make a small commission of the work you do. This is to cover the booking management. We set our wages dependent on your experience level and amount of time with the company, so there is always room to grow. You would still be offered a wage that is comparable or higher than typical assistant wages.
